I thought it took a special occasion to make a cake, but more recently I changed my mind. It only takes a few free hours, ingredients and excuse that you want to try a new recipe to make sure you don't go wrong when there really is an opportunity. :))
I had posted on the Facebook page a clip in which a lady with a cute dog was preparing a cake for Christmas. :) I really liked that countertop and the preparation method seemed interesting to me, so I took the time to try it.

Of course, I adapted the recipe to my tastes, so we'll talk about chocolate today. :))

  • Ingredients for a countertop (diagonal 24 cm):
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 90 g flour
  • 15 g butter
  • a spoonful of milk
  • a tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • Cream ingredients:
  • 5 eggs
  • 650 g butter at room temperature (82%)
  • 300 g sugar
  • 30 g cocoa
  • 300 g chocolate with high cocoa content

Servings: 20

Preparation time: less than 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Chocolate Cake:

To prepare the first top (we will need 3 in total), in the first phase, we will mix whole eggs together with the sugar, on a bain marie.

When I got a thick, warm foam, I took the bowl off the bain marie. Add flour and cocoa in the rain.

As with the usual worktop, we will use a spatula to incorporate the flour. Top the top with the milk, then pour over the composition of the countertop and incorporate lightly.

After we have lined the tray with baking paper, we put the composition and put it in the oven for about 20 minutes, at 160 degrees. The oven must be hot.

Remove the baking tray between two baking sheets and let it cool on a grill. We will do the same with the other two countertops.

To prepare the cream, we will homogenize whole eggs, sugar and cocoa in a sturdy bowl that we will put on a bain marie. We will stir continuously until the composition thickens. We take the bowl from the bain marie and add the chocolate stirring to incorporate it. Let the composition cool.

In another bowl, mix the butter, add the chocolate composition and mix to obtain a fine and irresistible cream. :)

Divide the cream into 3 parts, leaving a larger amount for decoration. Syrup the first top, then put the first layer of chocolate cream.

Place the second top, syrup, put the second layer of cream and finish with the third top.

The decor will belong. I dressed the cake in chocolate cream and ennobled it with coconut candies and hazelnuts.
